uvádí pravidla pro navrhování konstrukcí s taženými ocelovými prvky, které jsou v připojení ke konstrukci nastavitelné a vyměnitelné. Tažené prvky, které nejsou nastavitelné nebo vyměnitelné, např. ve vzduchu pletená lana visutých mostů nebo lana pro dodatečně předepnuté mosty, nejsou v této normě zahrnuty. Nicméně pravidla této normy je pro ně možné použít. Tato norma rovněž určuje pravidla pro stanovení technických požadavků na prefabrikované tažené prvky z hlediska jejich bezpečnosti, použitelnosti a trvanlivosti.
