Tato evropská norma stanoví metodu pro měření zrnitosti suchých složek správkových maltových směsí, s maximální velikosti zrn 8 mm nebo 10 mm, které jsou součástí výrobků nebo systémů pro opravy, jak jsou definovány v prEN 1504-3. Tato norma nepojednává o zrnitosti samostatného kameniva, které se stanovuje podle zkušební metody, popsané v ČSN EN 933. Podstata zkušební metody spočívá v prosévání vzorku zkušebními síty se zvětšující se velikostí ok, které jsou naskládány nad sebou. Výsledkem zkoušky jsou procentní podíly vzorku, prošlé každým sítem.
