Dieser Teil von EN 1366 legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Feuerwiderstandsdauer von Doppelböden und Hohlböden fest, wenn diese durch einen Brand unterhalb des Bodens beansprucht werden. Die Brandbeanspruchung des Probekörpers kann sein: a) die Einheits-Temperatur-Zeitkurve; b) eine .abgeminderte. Temperatur-Zeitkurve, die der Einheits-Temperatur-Zeitkurve nur bis 500 °C folgt. Nach Erreichen dieser Temperatur wird die Temperatur innerhalb des Prüfofens bei 500 °C gehalten. Diese Europäische Norm ist nicht dafür geeignet, die Feuerwiderstandsfähigkeit des Unterbodens, auf dem der Hohlboden aufgebaut ist, zu bestimmen. Dies wird nach ÖNORM EN 1365-2 ermittelt.
