Touto normou se nahrazují ČSN 46 1011, část 17 z 11.4.1988 "Zkoušení obilovin, luštěnin a olejnin. Zkoušení obilovin. Stanovení dusíku" a ČSN 46 1011, část 18 z 11.4.1988 "Zkoušení obilovin, luštěnin a olejnin. Zkoušení obilovin. Stanovení dusíkatých látek" s článkem 3.5 "Nařízení komise (ES) č. 824/2000, kterým se zavádějí postupy přejímání obilovin intervenčními agenturami a stanoví metody analýzy pro určování kvality obilovin". Podle článku 3.5 tohoto "Nařízení" je standardní metodou stanovení obsahu bílkovin metoda jejíž normy jsou uvedeny pod nadpisem č. 105/2: "Metoda stanovení obsahu bílkovin v obilovinách a obilních výrobcích". Obě výše citované normy byly přepracovány do jedné ČSN 46 1011-18 Zkoušení obilovin, luštěnin a olejnin - Část 18: Zkoušení obilovin - Stanovení obsahu dusíkatých látek.Tato norma určuje postup pro stanovení obsahu dusíkatých látek v obilovinách podle Kjeldahla. Metoda je použitelná rovněž pro všechny výrobky z obilovin.
