1.1 This practice covers a procedure to simulate the aging process of loose-fill insulation by subjecting it to controlled laboratory conditions of temperature and humidity so that the insulation can be further evaluated in a state that simulates the aging process. 1.2 It is not the intent of this practice to establish aging conditions that represent all possible exposures. 1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values in parentheses are provided for information only. 1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
