Touto normou se zavádí ST SEV 4645-79 jako ČSN, jíž se pro potřeby tehdejší ČSSR (ČSFR), resp. ČR norma RVHP nedoplňovala. Norma RVHP se vztahuje na bronzy. Podstatou metody RVHP je rozpuštění vzorku v směsi kyselin. Měď se potom vyloučí elektrolyticky a zbytek v elektrolytu se stanoví např. metodou AAS. Postup při provádění normalizované zkoušky je podrobně popsán. ČSN 42 0622 Část 2 byla schválena 8.9.1981 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.1.1983.
