Tato norma platí pro výrobu, zkoušení a dodávání keramických plnojádrových izolátorů pro trakční vedení drah napájených stejnosměrným nebo střídavým proudem vysokého napětí. Neplatí pro izolátory podzemní dráhy. ČSN 34 9325 byla schválena 10.1.1973 a nabyla účinnosti od 1.10.1973. Nahradila ČSN 34 9325 z 15.1.1964 a společně s ČSN 34 9328 z 10.1.1973 nahradila ČSN 34 9326 z 15.1.1964. "Změnou a)-4/1974" se s účinností od r.1974 provádí v normě úprava textu. "Změnou b)-6-7/1976" se v normě mění staré jednotky na jednotky podle soustavy SI. "Změnou c)-8/1988" se s účinností od 1.10.1986 doplňuje text čl. 33 a upravuje text tab.6
