Norma ČSN 33 3022-1 obsahuje překlad IEC TR 60909-1:2002. Norma se zabývá zkratovými proudy v trojfázových střídavých soustavách a úzce navazuje na normu EN 60909-0. Zaměřuje se v potřebném rozsahu na podstatu a používání součinitelů nezbytných pro zajištění výpočtů zkratových proudů v trojfázových soustavách podle EN 60909-0 s dostatečnou technickou přesností a co možná nejjednodušším postupem. Norma nemění zásady standardizovaného výpočetního postupu uvedeného v EN 60909-0. Norma dále uvádí postup určení příspěvku asynchronních motorů nebo skupin těchto motorů (ekvivalentních motorů) k počátečnímu souměrnému rázovému zkratovému proudu. Je důležitou částí souboru norem pro výpočet zkratových proudů v trojfázových střídavých soustavách
